2026 Fantasy Baseball: Late-Round Outfield Sleepers to Target (2026)

Get ready for the 2026 Fantasy Baseball season, where we uncover the hidden gems in the outfield! These late-round picks are about to shake up your league and take your team to the next level. The key to a championship roster lies in finding those undervalued players who can excel beyond their draft position.

We're talking about elite talent at a bargain price. Two outfielders, Jakob Marsee and Jasson Dominguez, are poised to smash their ADP (Average Draft Position) and become the talk of the fantasy baseball world.

Jakob Marsee, Miami Marlins:
Marsee's journey began at Central Michigan, where he caught the eye of scouts with his impressive 2022 season (.345 batting average, 60 runs, 7 home runs, 66 RBIs, and 18 stolen bases in just 229 at-bats). Drafted by the San Diego Padres, he showcased a patient approach at the plate, drawing more walks than strikeouts. The Marlins acquired him in a trade for Luis Arraez, and now he's ready to shine.

Over four minor league seasons, Marsee's numbers were solid (.239 batting average, 280 runs, 42 homers, 141 RBIs, and 159 steals). His walk rate (16.6%) and strikeout rate (19.5%) indicate a leadoff potential. Last season at AAA, he continued to impress, taking walks and stealing bases while reducing his strikeouts.

Marsee's MLB debut with the Marlins was nothing short of remarkable. In his first month, he hit .352 with 18 runs, 4 homers, 25 RBIs, and 9 steals in just 105 at-bats. However, pitchers adjusted, and his numbers dipped slightly over the final 25 games. Despite this, his overall contact batting average with the Marlins (.379) was significantly higher than his minor league career average (.304), suggesting a bright future.

His exit velocity (88.9 mph) and hard-hit rate (41.4%) are impressive, and he performs well against left-handed pitching. Marsee's fantasy outlook is promising, with an explosive floor in stolen bases (46, 51, and 61 over the last three seasons). Projected to bat second in the Marlins' lineup, he could reach 15 home runs and 50+ steals with over 500 at-bats. Early in his career, his batting average might be a concern, but his overall production is expected to be solid (90 runs, 15 homers, 60 RBIs, and 50+ steals).

Jasson Dominguez, New York Yankees:
Dominguez received 123 games of experience with the Yankees last season but struggled to secure an everyday role. His best stretch came in April and May (.244 batting average, 26 runs, 6 homers, 24 RBIs, and 7 steals in 160 at-bats). He struck out frequently (29.3%) but also drew walks (12.8%). Despite reducing his strikeouts to 24.9% over the final four months, the Yankees limited his at-bats (221) compared to the previous stretch.

Dominguez's performance against left-handed pitching was a concern (.204 batting average, 12 runs, 1 homer, 8 RBIs, and 7 steals in 93 at-bats). His exit velocity (90.6 mph) and hard-hit rate (49.6%) are impressive, but his barrel rate (7.0%) and HR/FB rate (9.7%) could use some improvement.

Over four minor league seasons, Dominguez hit .274 with 255 runs, 47 homers, 189 RBIs, and 102 steals. His walk rate (13.0) shows top-of-the-order potential, but his strikeout rate (24.5) is a bit high.

With Cody Bellinger joining the Yankees' outfield, Dominguez's playing time is uncertain. He'll need to outperform Trent Grisham to secure a full-time starting role, unless Giancarlo Stanton suffers an injury. Currently, he's projected as a 20/30 player with some batting average risk. While he might be overpriced now, Dominguez is definitely one to watch this spring.

Both Marsee and Dominguez bring question marks regarding playing time, but their potential to dominate categories makes them exciting late-round picks. If Marsee's speed translates over a full season and Dominguez secures everyday at-bats, they could be the difference-makers in your fantasy league. These sleepers are ready to wake up and dominate!
