The Yangjia River Greening Enhancement project, designed by YIIIE Architects, is a significant urban development initiative in Jinan, China. This project, Building No. 4 of the Yangjia River Rainbow Lake Small Architecture Series, is strategically located at the intersection of Kechuang Road and Kewen Road in the central area of Jinan's High-tech East District. The central axis of this new district is Chunhui Road, which runs along the Yangjia River. The project aims to strengthen supporting facilities, enhance urban quality, foster innovation vitality, and improve the district's capacity to radiate development, in line with the directives of the East District Construction Headquarters. The primary objective is to establish the Yangjia River Ecological Corridor and a slow-mobility network, contributing to the overall sustainability and livability of the area. The design team includes Xia Fan and Li Yuehan, with support from various specialists in architecture, curtain wall, structural engineering, interior fit-out, MEP, HVAC, and landscape design. The client, Jinan Dongsheng Urban Renewal Development Co., Ltd., has engaged CSWADI (China Southwest Architectural Design & Research Institute) for the construction drawings. This project is set to be completed by 2025 and will significantly impact the urban landscape of Jinan, offering a harmonious blend of functionality and environmental sustainability.
